Prior to joining Blast Radius, Merz served as the

art director for Jung Von Matt/Neckar out of

Germany. He also ran his own design studio in

Singapore, doing freelance work for leading

interactive and advertising agencies including

Tribal DDB, Panama and Jung Von Matt

Interactive. Merz work style is both creative and

analytical, and he is passionate about exploring

the relationships between art, technology,

humans, and culture.

 

 

 

 

 

His superior design skills and ability to blend

branding and creativity come, in part, from a

strong background in advertising, where he

worked in the multi-media department of one of

the top ranked agencies in Germany. He also

has experience in a wide variety of media

channels, including print, guerrilla marketing,

broadcast and magazine design.

He has won many international design awards at

festivals in London and New York, including

awards at Cannes, One Show and ADC.

Merz brings a global perspective to his work.

Besides his extensive experience in Germany,

he also studied in the UK, receiving a Masters

Degree from the University of Portsmouth, and

lived and worked in Singapore.
